SENSUI Fragment Archive -Made to Order- Currently exhibited in New York

日本で古くから生活の中に存在してきた藍と、
掠れや欠落、植物の痕跡を重ねながら
記憶の断片を再構成するように制作した一着です。

展示作品の完売に伴い、
同シリーズをオーダー形式で受け付けます。

掲載している作品の構成を基に制作しますが、
一点ずつ手作業で染めるため
柄の配置や藍の濃淡、掠れ方はそれぞれ異なります。

写真とまったく同じものを再現するのではなく、
その時に生まれた偶然を含めて
一着の作品として仕上げます。

制作期間
ご注文から約2〜4週間

仕様
一点ずつ手染めで制作します。
柄、色の濃淡、染まり方には個体差があります。

お届けする作品は、写真と同じ技法・構成を基に制作した別個体となります。

Currently on view in New York,
fragment archive combines Japanese indigo with layers of fading, absence and botanical traces.

The work is created as if reconstructing fragments of an incomplete memory.

Following the sale of the exhibited piece, this series is now available on a made-to-order basis.

Each piece is individually dyed by hand.
While the composition will be based on the work shown in the photographs, the placement of the patterns, tonal depth and traces of the dye will vary.

Rather than reproducing an identical garment, each order will be completed as a unique piece shaped by the process and its natural variations.

Made in Aomori, Japan.

Each garment is individually hand-dyed after the order is placed.

Please allow approximately 2–4 weeks for production.

The item you receive will not be identical to the exhibited piece. Variations in colour, pattern and texture are an intentional part of the work.
